About the event
After the 1902 Fraterville Mine Disaster, Elias “Boomer” McGraw and his mining partner, Old Kate Batts, left the coal camps behind and came east toward the Clinch River. Boomer carried a sack of silver dollars and a map he never spoke of. Kate kept mostly to the shadows. When Boomer vanished, only fragments of his map remained—and rumors that Kate walks these hills at dusk, watching over what they left behind. Uncover the fragments, decode the clues, and see how far the trail will take you.
